Blush Face is an indie pop rock 'n' roll band from Richmond, VA and they have been playing since 2016. Allie met Drew at an open-mic show where they were both performing and told him she was looking to start a band and wanted to play her songs with a drummer. Drew played drums and thought that’d be real cool. After a couple practices and a house show lined up at Carpet Palace, “Blush Face” was the chosen name over a text message conversation.
A du named Chris was kind to offer up his sick bass riffs and joined the band shortly after.
Evan joined in on lead guitar later and finally - they were a full rock band. Many shows were played, mini tour was toured, and many dogs were greeted at band practice. It was Time - their first album named “What Do You Want?” was released.
But wait - Chris was moving to Philadelphia now. Thank you for being in the band, madu. Allie Drew and Ev needed another bass player and Allie knew just the person.
It had to be Billy B. He’s mad good on keys too.
The band celebrated their 100th show on October 5th, 2019 at Hardywood Brewery with local legends Spooky Cool and Gull.
